Matt Morton, the owner of Matt’s Concrete Service, was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina. Matt and his family settled down close to where he and his wife were both raised. Matt has always dreamed of owning his own business. After he graduated high school, Matt worked on powerlines. After an injury took him away from working on powerlines, he decided to try something different. Matt went on to receive his Commercial Drivers License. Matt started driving a concrete mixer for a local concrete company, where he was later promoted to the manager of the plant. This company led Matt to the idea of starting his concrete finishing business. Armed with the knowledge he gained from being a plant manager and knowledge from working previously with a concrete finisher, Matt decided to start his business - Matt’s Concrete Service.
